Brown U Being Sued Over Shootings - As Predicted
EntSun News/11080503
Evidence of Gross Negligence Increasing, It's Now Overwhelming
WASHINGTON - EntSun -- Evidence is now being gathered to be used in a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Brown University on behalf of those who were shot or suffered serious physical injuries as a result of the recent mass shooting, as well as those who suffered severe emotional distress, reports public interest law professor John Banzhaf.
Such a lawsuit was predicted by Prof. Banzhaf whose legal analysis suggested that simply having unlocked and totally unguarded doors to a major campus building - not even requiring card-swipe for entrance as most universities do - constituted sufficient evidence of legally actionable negligence to support wrongful death actions, negligence actions for gunshot injuries, and actions for the tort (civil action) of negligent infliction of severe emotional distress.
Brown University Negligent and Potentially Liable With Unlocked Door; Shooting at Brown Was Reasonably Foreseeable

Brown U's Negligence Makes It Legally Liable to All Victims of Shooting, Building Was Always Unlocked; May Have Killed Cameras As Appeasement (http://prsync.com/george-washington-university/brown-us-negligence-makes-it-legally-liable-to-all-victims-of-shooting----building-was-always-unlocked-may-have-killed-cameras-a-5038769/)
Although Brown originally claimed that the main doors to the building were unlocked on that day only because of scheduled activities inside, students have come forward saying that the doors were routinely kept unlocked and unguarded - without even card-swipe - all the time 24/7.
Indeed, Brown's negligence regarding building security was so great that a homeless man was able to live in the basement. . . .
As additional very compelling evidence of gross negligence, a janitor who worked in the building has come forward to say that he had warned Brown of a very suspicious person wandering throughout the building, but the university apparently did nothing.

Moreover there are even allegations that Brown deliberately turned off security cameras to appease pro-Palestine demonstrators.
It also appears that the classroom doors could not be locked to protect those inside once an active shooter alert was sounded. This violates the recommendations of dozens of experts and agencies who say this simple and very inexpensive precaution is vital.
In addition, students and staff suggested the university's emergency notifications about the active shooter were delayed; indeed, that official alerts lagged behind informal student communications. As a result, the students inside did not have time to try to barricade the classroom doors, or at least to duck and hide, notes the law professor.
These and other even more shocking examples of indifference to student safety are likely to be further documented in the just-announced investigation by the U.S. Department of Education, as well as in pre-trial civil discovery.
It appears that problems with campus security had been known by top administrators for some time.
