BREAKTHRU BEVERAGE WORKERS JOIN TEAMSTERS
EntSun News/11071778
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 16, 2025 ~ In a historic move, the drivers at Breakthru Beverage in St. Louis, Missouri have voted to unionize with Teamsters Local 600. The decision was made by an overwhelming majority of the 41 workers, who are seeking improved pay, better benefits, and safer working conditions.
According to John Kelting, President of Local 600, Breakthru has been taking advantage of these drivers for far too long. He stated that it is now time for the new Teamsters to receive the wages, benefits, and working conditions that they rightfully deserve.
Jeff Padellaro, Director of the Brewery, Bakery, and Soft Drink Conference also expressed his support for the drivers. He acknowledged their hard work and emphasized that they deserve a contract that recognizes their worth. Padellaro stated that the Teamsters are ready to stand alongside them as they fight for a fair first contract.
