Boston: Council Advances Resolutions Recognizing Literacy, Disabilities Awareness, and Social Work

~ Boston City Councilor Murphy, along with co-sponsors Councilors Mejia and Culpepper, successfully had three resolutions adopted this week, showcasing the city's dedication to education, inclusion, and community service.

One of the resolutions, co-sponsored by Councilors Mejia and Culpepper, recognizes and celebrates Read Across America Day. This resolution aims to promote the joy and importance of reading for children and families. It recognizes their contributions as students, workers, neighbors, and family members while emphasizing the importance of inclusion in various aspects of life such as education, employment, housing, transportation, and civic engagement.
