Black Woman-Owned Brand, Tiye Eliza, Launches SS 2022 Collection for New York Fashion Week

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Louisville, Kentucky born fashion designer, world traveler, and entrepreneur, Tiye Eliza, came to New York City with one mission - to introduce the world to her brand and a ready-to-wear collection for urban yet futuristic fashionistas. The brand Tiye Eliza was born in 2014 after the designer's first fashion show and since then the designer has coordinated and produced runway shows for four annual events. Tiye Eliza's eclectic style is influenced by her global experiences and her desire to create clothing that is comfortable yet edgy.

The latest collection, Bonnet Activity, is the brand's first introduction to lingerie and loungewear. The line was inspired by nature and an appreciation for all body types, especially athletic bodies. The colors embody the elements of  nature and a strong desire by Tiye to use more colors and patterns in her pieces. Tiye Eliza also played with textures in the mixture of different fabrics including boucle, charmeuse, and knits.

View the full collection at Tiye Eliza's Lingerie Fashion Show on September 10, 2021 at the Gypsy Rose Bistro in Midtown Manhattan. The venue, located in the Holiday Inn at 125 west 26th street, is Black-owned and opened earlier this year during the pandemic. In addition to Tiye Eliza's fashion show, you will find local vendors such as: Moon Waze, Tiffany Nicole, Original Gloss Experts, Michelle Burnett Designs, & more. The event will also feature exotic dancing and live performances by Julie Alexandra Walsh, FKA Prophet, and Ladrea Mariaa.
