Prominent Beatles Authors Appearing at "Beatles at the Ridge, Authors, and Artists Symposium," a FREE festival in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas which features Beatles Memorabilia and Collectibles by Experts
JONESBORO, Ark. - EntSun -- Celebrating the band that changed the world, the seventh annual "BATR Authors and Artists Symposium" will feature authors, artists, artistic displays, and memorabilia which capture the essence of Beatlemania.
Jim Berkenstadt, the Rock and Roll Detective®, will display and speak on a guitar used by George Harrison, as well as mysteries behind other unique Beatles items. Berkenstadt will emcee a free public viewing of George Harrison documentary produced by Martin Scorcese, "Living in the Material World." Additionally, he will speak about his best-selling book, The Beatle Who Vanished – The Story of Jimmie Nicol (now being made into a major motion picture).
Well-known Beatles expert and New Orleans author, Bruce Spizer will unveil his latest book The Beatles Get Back to Abbey Road. Spizer is highly respected in Beatles circles as the expert on Beatles music.

Featured Artist, Ken Orth, the creator and curator of "Meet the Look-Alikes!" Beatles exhibit, will conduct personal tours, Q&A, and a multi-media presentation. Author Terry Crain will conduct presentations based on his book, NEMS and the Business of Selling Beatles Merchandise in the U.S. 1964-66. Patricia Gallo-Stenman, author of Diary of a Beatlemaniac, and Sara Schmidt, author of forthcoming book, The Official Beatles Fan Club in the United States will each address the fan club topic. Podcast hosts, Allison Boron and Erika White of "BC the Beatles," will conduct a live podcast (with audience participation). Ted Hutchens, owner of the go-kart used by George Harrison and The Beatles during their brief 1964 vacation at the Reed Pigman Ranch in Missouri, will be on hand with the original go-kart.
Artists, musicians, and vendors from across the country will appear such as: Emcee for the event, Susan Ryan, from New York City where she conducts Fab 4 NYC Walking Tours. Talent includes: teen musician, Cameron Hicks, from Tennessee; award-winning mixed-media artist and musician, Rande Kessler, from Louisiana; author James Ryan from New York; Beatles poet, Terri Whitney, from Michigan, and upscale Beatles merchandise vendors Bud Loveall of Texas, Rita Lokerson of New Jersey, and Tammy Chambers of Texas.
