Apptricity Awarded Contract with City of San Antonio to Modernize San Antonio Fire Department Asset Management
EntSun News/11098504
IRVING, Texas - EntSun -- Apptricity Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise asset tracking, RFID/IoT, and supply chain visibility software, today announced it has been awarded a contract with the City of San Antonio to deliver an inventory and asset management solution for the San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD). The contract was awarded June 6, 2026.
Under the agreement, Apptricity will implement a unified platform to replace SAFD's fragmented, manual tracking processes across:
The new system is designed to give SAFD real-time visibility into critical assets across its stations and fleet, streamlining operations, improving accountability, and reducing the administrative burden on personnel who currently manage these processes manually.
Committed to First Responder Readiness and Safety
For fire and EMS agencies, readiness is a safety issue as much as an operational one. Apptricity's public safety solutions give departments real-time visibility into the location, condition, and availability of the personnel, equipment, and supplies a response depends on — from turnout gear and SCBA to medical supplies and apparatus. By replacing manual checks with automated, IoT-enabled tracking, Apptricity helps agencies confirm equipment is present, functional, and where it needs to be before it's needed in the field, reducing the risk of a firefighter or medic arriving on scene without mission-critical gear. That same visibility extends to dispatchers and command staff, supporting faster, better-informed decisions when every second counts.
