ALMS Community Health Center Invites North Texas to Help Expand Healthcare Access
DALLAS - EntSun -- Since opening its doors in November 2019, ALMS Community Health Center has been guided by a simple belief: quality healthcare should be accessible, compassionate and centered around the needs of every patient.
That commitment continues today as ALMS participates in North Texas Giving Day, inviting individuals, businesses and community partners to help expand healthcare access for patients and families throughout North Texas.
Over the past several years, ALMS has grown into a trusted community healthcare provider, delivering ongoing care for more than 705 active patients while caring for 502 patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through primary care, pediatric services, mental health care, chronic disease management, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, telehealth, home visits and mobile wound care, the organization continues working to remove barriers that often prevent people from receiving the care they need.

"Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect," said Karan Staggers, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, President of ALMS Community Health Center. "Our mission has always been to improve healthcare access by meeting people where they are and providing the coordinated care they need to live healthier lives."
As healthcare needs continue to grow throughout the region, ALMS remains focused on prevention, early intervention and whole-person care. Community support through North Texas Giving Day will help the organization continue expanding access to services that improve health outcomes for individuals and families across the communities it serves.
"Community healthcare is strongest when communities participate," said Sharan Allen, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, Vice President and Co-Owner of ALMS Community Health Center. "Every act of support helps us continue caring for patients, strengthening families and building healthier communities throughout North Texas."
