Alloy Enterprises Expands Production Fab Facility to Meet Customer Demand

BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 1, 2024 ~ Burlington, MA - Alloy Enterprises, a Boston-based manufacturing technology startup, has recently announced the expansion of its company headquarters office and production fabrication facility. The updated infrastructure will double the production space from the original floor plan and include updated office space.

The new production area is equipped with additional Stack Forging™ equipment, which has more than doubled the production capacity in response to increasing demand from customers for complex aluminum components. This expansion also incorporates additional in-house testing, inspection, and machining capabilities to support high-volume production. To meet the growing demand, a second shift of skilled machine operators and production technicians has been added.

The investment in the facility's new space reflects Alloy Enterprises' rapid growth since its founding in early 2020. From its small historic carriage house in Somerville, MA, the company has now expanded into a much larger space at its headquarters in Burlington, MA. This expansion not only allows for increased production capacity but also improves energy efficiency.

According to Ali Forsyth, Ph.D., CEO of Alloy Enterprises, "At Alloy, it starts and ends with the team." The company's success can be attributed to its dedicated team of employees known as "builders" and a roll-up-your-sleeves culture. Forsyth also expressed gratitude towards their customers, builders, and investors who have helped them reach this stage. "It will be quite a year ahead," says Forsyth.
