African University of Digital Transformation (AUDT) Proposed for Ghana's Central Region KASOA, GHANA – JULY 2026
EntSun -- A consortium of international investors based in the United States of America has expressed strong interest in supporting the establishment of the African University of Digital Transformation (AUDT), a proposed first-of-its-kind institution designed to become Africa's premier AI-native and cybersecurity-focused university.
The project concept, which is currently undergoing a comprehensive feasibility assessment, follows a series of advanced discussions with the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, regarding the strategic positioning of Kasoa and the Central Region as a future hub for digital innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.
Subject to the successful completion of technical, financial, regulatory, and stakeholder consultations, the initiative is expected to pursue strategic collaborations with global technology leaders including Google, Microsoft, and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
Strategic Leadership & Local Collaboration:
The project team and investor group extend their deepest appreciation to Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor for her exceptional leadership, proactive support, and steadfast collaboration since the inception of this vision.
In particular, the initiative acknowledges the MP's instrumental role in:
Facilitating Feasibility Assessments: Assisting and guiding the technical team through the preliminary feasibility studies to evaluate site suitability, infrastructure requirements, and community integration.
Stakeholder Mobilization: Leading arrangements and organizing preliminary engagements with key local leaders, community stakeholders, and regional authorities in Awutu Senya East and the Central Region.
Her visionary approach ensures that the university project is firmly aligned with local community development while serving a grander continental mission.
Flexible Academic Delivery: Hybrid Model
To ensure widespread accessibility across the continent while providing hands-on practical training, AUDT will adopt a hybrid learning model.
Virtual Learning Environment: Cutting-edge digital platforms will allow students across Africa and globally to access lectures, collaborate remotely, and engage with AI-driven course materials.
