Advanced HDR By Technicolor® Wins 2024 CSI Award in Best Video Processing Technology Category

AMSTERDAM - EntSun -- IBC 2024 – The CSI Awards – established to acknowledge excellence and innovation in the cable, satellite, broadcast, IPTV, telco, broadband/OTT video, and mobile TV sectors – honored Advanced HDR By Technicolor with the award for Best Video Processing Technology on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, during IBC 2024.

A collaboration between Philips, InterDigital and Technicolor, the Advanced HDR by Technicolor team set out to optimize video content in high dynamic range (HDR) for over-the-top streaming (OTT) services and provide viewers a superior experience without increasing processing and bandwidth requirements.

As a suite of HDR production, distribution and display solutions, Advanced HDR by Technicolor leverages machine learning (ML) to maximize image quality for enhanced consumer viewing experiences. HDR and standard dynamic range (SDR) content are captured, automatically converted and produced in a single workflow, ensuring that legacy SDR content meets the standards of modern HDR displays.
