ADEC Innovations Opens Durban BPO Delivery Center Expanding Africa Outsourcing Capabilities
EntSun News/11084312
DURBAN, South Africa - EntSun -- ADEC Innovations, a global business process outsourcing provider, has expanded its African footprint with the launch of a new BPO delivery center in Durban. The expansion strengthens the company's South Africa outsourcing capabilities and positions Durban as a key hub within its global delivery network spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Initial operations focus on shared services outsourcing for a U.S.-based client, with ADEC providing payroll support as part of a long-standing partnership.
Strategic BPO Growth in Africa
ADEC Innovations has been building its African presence since 2014, when it established its first delivery center in Nairobi, Kenya which has since grown to more than 300 professionals. The company expanded operations to Cairo, Egypt, and Cape Town, South Africa, in 2023, followed by the launch of a new delivery capabilities in Ghana in 2025.
The Durban site represents the next phase of this strategic expansion, strengthening ADEC's BPO operations across South Africa and the wider African region. At launch, the team includes 14 professionals, with plans to scale to a triple-digit headcount by the end of the year as additional service lines are introduced.

"Africa is rapidly becoming a critical pillar in the future of global BPO," said James Donovan, Co-Founder and CEO of ADEC Innovations. "As clients prioritize service diversification and operational resilience, the continent offers a compelling combination of skilled talent, strong infrastructure, and scalable delivery capabilities."
"Our expansion in Durban underscores South Africa's proven ability to deliver high-value, complex services at scale as part of an integrated global delivery network. We are also advancing expansion plans across other key African delivery centers, including Kenya, Egypt, and Ghana to further strengthen our regional footprint and support growing client demand."
The Durban Advantage for South Africa Outsourcing
South Africa ranks 11th globally for English proficiency, supported by an estimated 5.5 to 6.5 million native English speakers. Strong cultural alignment with US, UK, and European markets makes the country well suited for both customer-facing and back-office outsourcing services.
Durban accounts for approximately 13 percent of South Africa's contact center workforce and benefits from a steady talent pipeline, with an estimated 80,000 to 90,000 STEM graduates entering the regional job market each year. Ongoing infrastructure investment, combined with high quality-of-life rankings, shorter commutes, and a lower cost of living, contributes to employee stability and long-term workforce sustainability.
