The First Annual HEAR HER CALL Caribbean-American Women's Theater Festival
Will be Presented by Conch Shell Productions and Milton G. Bassin Performing Arts Center at York College on March 29th, 2019

NEW YORK - March 8, 2019 - EntSun -- Conch Shell Productions in collaboration with Milton G. Bassin Performing Arts Center at York College presents HEAR HER CALL Caribbean-American Women's Theater Festival. In addition to two performance of the 7 one-acts (show times 12pm and 7pm) Conch Shell Productions is also hosting an expo of Caribbean-American non-profit organizations, artists, local vendors, etc. HEAR HER CALL Caribbean-American Women's Theater Festival is made possible (in part) by the Queens Council on the Arts with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.

The festival will take place at MILTON G. BASSIN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AT YORK COLLEGE 9420 Guy Brewer Boulevard, Jamaica New York on Friday, March 29, 2019.

The performance times will be 12:00 pm & 7:00 pm that day. HEAR HER CALL will be directed by Magaly Colimon-Christopher, who has directed and produced, "Yes Madame!" (Official Selection: Pan African Film Festival, Martha's Vineyard Film Festival, Reel Sisters Film Festival, and HBREC Film Festival). "'Til Midnight" (BN4Real web series) "Her Tory" (Semi-Finalist Caribbean Film Festival and Market); "Couple Wanted" (Ah-Ha Moments One-Act Play Festival). WRITING CREDITS: "BN4Real", "Silent Truth" (2018 Finalist O'Neill National Playwrights Conference), International producing credits include Limon Company and Mora Godoy Tango Company, as well as several independent theaters in Peru).
