Magician/Author Ben Robinson to appear in Logan Monday October 23rd

Master Magician and acclaimed author Ben Robinson will be making his only Utah appearance at the Hatch Academy of Magic & Music for a performance and discussion of his recently completed W-A-M trilogy.

LOGAN, Utah - Oct. 17, 2017 - EntSun -- Magician and author Ben Robinson recently completed a trilogy of books expressing his thoughts on wonder, artfulness and mindfulness (W-A-M), based on his years of experience as a magician, meditator, researcher and world traveller. His W-A-M tour celebrating the completion of this trilogy will make only one stop in Utah, at the Thatcher-Young Mansion in Logan (35 W 100 South) on Monday, October 23, 2017. Hosted by the Hatch Academy of Magic & Music, Ben's presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature his original magic as well as readings from and discussions of the books and his work.

The W-A-M trilogy consists of The Importance of Wonder (2015), Artful Mindfulness (2016) and Mindful Artfulness (2017). Signed copies of all three will be available at Ben Robinson's appearance on Monday. H. Freytag, reviewing the books in VANISH Magazine wrote: "The WAM Trilogy is a very exciting time capsule—positive, darkly sweet and well-researched arts literature."

Ben's first hardcover book, Twelve Have Died (1986), a history of the deadly bullet catching feat, has long been out of print and fetches high prices on the used book market. Although he has performed and may discuss this legendary feat, he will not be performing it on this tour. Instead he will feature the original magic that has taken him to 22 countries,  from the Magic Castle in Hollywood to the base camp of Mount Everest, and been seen by more than 3 million people worldwide over the past 40 years. Allan Smith, President of The Adventurer's Club in Los Angeles has said, "Ben Robinson is not just a great magician. He is one of the greatest magicians to ever live."

Tickets to this event are just $10 and may be purchased in advance at the Hatch Academy homepage (http://www.hatchacademy.com/) or - if available - at the door Monday evening. The doors open at 7 p.m. Seating is limited to just 50, so reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
