Michael J. Fox, the actor in the famous Back To The Future series, has received a challenge to debate the rules of time travel with internationally known time travel expert, Marshall Barnes, as a charity fundraiser for The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - May 21, 2019 - EntSun -- A tweet that actor and star of the Back To The Future series, Michael J. Fox, sent out has sparked the ire of leading time travel scientist, Marshall Barnes. With a pic of Fox sitting at a teacher's desk in the movie, See You Yesterday, in which he has a cameo, and the statement, "Time Travel Rule #1: Don't Talk To Your Future or Past Self", over the image, Fox tweets that -  "But, if I were to break that rule – I'd tell my past self See You Yesterday is going to be good. Watch #SeeYouYesterday on #Netflix today, May 17."

What many people are unaware of is that time travel is rapidly being taken seriously and the science has taken a turn in its direction, veering away any basis on Einstein's theories of relativity as a foundation, toward a confluence of information physics, temporal mechanics and quantum theory. This has been confirmed, in part, by both the BBC and John Brandon, writing for FoxNews.com.

The way time travel science is depicted in See You Yesterday has made Marshall so angry that he's got a sequel piece coming out at Futurism.media called, Tackling 'See You Yesterday' At The Goal Line: A  review where I take the kid gloves off...and put the brass knuckles on! . Marshall states that he's angry because as a leading promoter of STEM, he will now have to spend time undoing the damage that the erroneous info in the film will cause to the understanding of young people, as concerns physics and time travel. Michael J. Fox's tweet adds to that damage.

"The minute I saw that I replied, "BS. Time travel is discontinuous. Talking to your past self won't change what happened in the past because you're not in the 1st past anymore. You're in a new one. Stop passing off BAD sci-fi as sci fact, Michael. https://www.blurb.com/b/5622324-paradox-lost-the-public-edition … (https://t.co/TIZpRR3w9g) Or debate me as a fund raiser for charity!"

It's probably too soon, but so far no word from Fox. Now, Marshall is making the challenge formal - a debate on the "rules of time travel" as a fundraiser for the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

"Michael can have any 2 people assist him, since he isn't a physicist or science writer and I'll probably have a way that people can vote on who they think will win by donating money, which will all go for his foundation. Back To The Future was one of the worst time travel movies ever. It's always made me wince from its obvious flaws in time travel theory. My point is I've had it with people with no clue about time travel, pontificating on it as if their opinion really mattered. I had enough of that when Malcolm Barrett, from NBC's Timeless, thought he could get away with actually claiming that he was a time travel science geek. In fact, he's a fraud and then tried defaming me in retaliation for getting exposed. It didn't work because all of his fans backed off when they realized that I had actual papers and physical research to back my positions up."
