EntSun News/10776661
ATLANTA - May 14, 2019 - EntSun -- The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) is gearing up for its second annual Nursing Education Accreditation Conference, which will be hosted in Atlanta July 18–20. This year's theme focuses on Merging Accreditation and Innovation. Participants at last year's Conference, themed Quality Education through Accreditation, included more than 400 deans, directors, and faculty members hailing from nursing programs in the United States, territories, and even as far away as the country of Jordan. Attendees provided the ACEN with a great deal of constructive feedback as well as high praise. "Excellent content for a new educator! I have a much better understanding of the challenges educators face, and a better understanding of the various ways my and other institutions are addressing them," stated one. Said another said: "[The ACEN] did an amazing job with the conference. One of the best, most relevant, and well run that I've been to!" The ACEN's goal is to continue exceeding expectations with updates and improvements to the Conference, including its mobile app, activities, and the opportunities to earn as many as 17 Continuing Education hours.
