Learn how leading organizations are embedding agile practices within their Stage Gate systems and achieving outstanding results

NEWTON, Mass. - Sept. 27, 2016 - EntSun -- Management Roundtable, Inc. (MRT) and Sopheon today announced a new groundbreaking workshop on Agile-Stage-Gate: The Next Generation Idea-to-Launch Process – Getting the Right Products to Market Fast led by Dr. Robert G. Cooper, the renowned innovation expert and father of the Stage-Gate® process in use by over 75% of firms in industry. The workshop will be held on January 26-27, 2017 in Tampa, Florida.

In this workshop, Dr. Cooper will share how leading firms are getting superb results by moving beyond their traditional Stage-Gate® systems to make their processes more agile, lean and responsive to customers. Specifically, he will cover how to:

** leverage Agile project management methods to help with dynamic product requirements and the need for rapid strategic pivots

** get the project right by building experimentation and iterations (scrums and time-boxed sprints) into processes

** use customer feedback during iterations to launch the right product reconcile contradictions between Agile principles and Stage-Gate® (for example, pre-planning versus planning-on-the-fly)

** modify both models to yield a single effective system

** adapt Agile methods to accommodate physical products

Dr. Cooper will be joined by Paul Heller, Chief Technology Officer of Sopheon, who will give a detailed case presentation on how organizations are using new management approaches and sophisticated software tools to achieve dramatic improvements in time to market and the success rate of new products.
